Java Jazz Festival, which started out in 2005, has developed to become the largest festival of its kind, featuring tens of artists on multiple stages, and attracting hundreds of thousands of people during the 3-day event – quite a feat for a music festival loosely centered around jazz. Wooz.in joined in the festivities by deploying several social media photo booths around the venue, but our main feature was the High Note contest.

The High Note contest asks the participant to yell as long and as loud as they can into a microphone connected to an interactive vending machine. The IVM would then measure the participants’ voice, and automatically dispense a prize based on the results – but not before posting a photo of the participant yelling into the microphone to their social media accounts. 😀
